Yup. There's a lot more to the story, but I won't post that. Let's just say things won't go her way.

I've never been on the receiving of papers, but I've had 100's of people served over the years. The one thing I try my best to not do is serving someone at their work. Personally, I think it's a cheap trick to try and embarass the person in front of his/her co-workers. The only time I have people served at work is if my process server has tried and tried other places and not been able to catch them or if we know the person is intentionally ducking service. You wouldn't believe some of the crazy service stories I've had over the years, but again, I don't like having people served at their work.

I just got hit with a $200 a month increase as well. Sucks that I have to be broke while I subsidize my ex's lifestyle while her and our daughter live with her parents.....

Ouch! Not looking forward to that myself. I can't fathom paying more than I already do. Fucking vultures, I swear.

That's basically what this is - me paying for her social life. Oh well, guess I'll see what happens.

Better than getting stuck with the house (that you bought together) and all the associated bills, while also paying for her house with her new boyfriend (and his 5 kids)!

Damn I hope I never have kids. I just can't find a urologist who will perform a vasectomy on a 23 year old man.

You want the number to the doc that did mine? Granted, I've got 2 kids and I'm 30, but it's worth a shot. A lot won't do it, but if I were you, and had it to do over again, I'd visit every fucking Doc in the state.

Word. I was lucky enough to have overtime offered at my job last year so I could avoid foreclosure/bankruptcy and the judge saw the additional income and bumped me up to $600 a month. Talk about 1 step forward, 2 steps back.
