I wouldn't want to just give these kids a million dollars just because. Kind of a dilemma.

I would do the same thing. For my bros kids since they are so little put that amount in a trust fund. And not let them about it until well after college

Actually, forming a trust or corporation and then using it claim the lottery can be done. However, while skirting the personal income tax, you are now hit with a 50% commercial income tax. Granted financial planners and those who know what they are doing (not me) can find all sorts of loop holes that can probably get that tax down to about 15%

Im not claiming it in my name, I wouldn't be able to hide fast enough or far away enough.

There was a story of a guy long long ago who won the lottery and by the time he went broke (from like 260 million) his daughter had od'd, his son was in jail and he was being harassed constantly for money....fun

I figure I'll drop a ten spot on it, first time since about a year after the lottery came to Texas.

And if I win, Jody gets a call after I pull out a million to do what I need to do...

it would honestly be hard to lose money with that amount due to time in a bank or any other securities. I'm pretty proficient at spending money with my hobby/profession, however that stack would get larger at an alarming rate. challenge accepted.

                            First world problems, LOL

I would really only need a decent sized house on the Lake or something and a crap load of cool cars, other than that the rest would be invested somewhere. Hell I might not quit my job, I damn sure wouldn't take any shit though! "Work Saturdays, Pfft no way"
