Yeah, spoke with them the morning after it happened. I have to write a detailed letter to Austin and they will let me know.

    I did.

According to Star tire, my wheel can't be fixed. I'm going to bring it to the other places just to get a second opinion. Hopefully they tell me something different as these wheels have been discontinued.

I blew out 2 tires and broke 2 wheels on my 92 hatch on a pot hole in DFW airport around 2006 time frame. Never filed anything... pothole was fucking ridiculous - I hit frame.

A motard then! lol. I just spend way too much money on this truck and I haven't even started the turbo build yet. Bikes were just cheaper for me with my commute, 8-10$ a week versus 50-60$.

I'm sure Don could find you a Festiva. $10 bucks for gas, $10 dollar tires and still have a place in the back to put all of your dead hookers.

Good to know, I may have to try them. Is the $135 dependent on size?

You may not remember when we met, but I'm a fair bit taller than Don, lol. I'm not sure I could fit with all the dead hookers. They are why I got a truck.

So, since star tire are pussies. I called the place that fixed it last time (through the bodyshop in an insurance claim) wheel repair solutions. Quoted me $135 plus misc costs (m&b, paint ans so on). Last time the wheel was way worse, cracked bent and a big chunk missing. This time just a bend on the outside lip.

I may need to buy a new set of wheels and no kmc's or rockstars!!!!!!

I was thinking about doing a set of custom bogarts in a smaller size (as to not bitch out in the face of pot holes).

                    Current wheels

                    bogarts

                    I like these the most!!!

That's what happened to mine. They repaired both rims (22"), two new tires, alignment, rental car, all paid for. I was pleasantly surprised. Those roads are crap.

Discount Tire doesn't repair anything. I don't know who they do business with these days, used to be TLC.

a quick spin on a balancer and I can tell you if it can be repaired or not, if you want to meet at a tire shop.

                              they use wheel technologies....

I appreciate that man, I need to do something! It's either fix this one (if it can be repaired) or buy a whole set.

It really looks like nothing compared to the other time.
