Yea, it was $500 but has been THE BEST dectector I've ever owned.

+1 I have one mounted in my truck, Also have a V1 with it and they play together pretty well. They both have some pros and cons.

Those things are insane money though.

I guess ill look into the Tom Tom or garmin gps.

You have to pay to play either way...

If I speed regularly I would get one or if I had a sports car. Most of the time a drive the speed limit but occasionally I will speed and ill be damned if I get a huge ticket in the mail.

The way I look at it... 300 for a ticket, or 500 for a detector and a little peace of mind.


Disclaimer: Instant on, POP, and Laser will all rock your ass if you aren't paying attention. I'm not sure of AZ laws, but I believe you could install a laser shifter, which isn't 100% effective at all times, but I would say it's worth it for the heavy foot driver.

I also always go the speed limit. It takes 5 miles to reach 65 in my sweet 93 Taurus.
