  • Atmospheric Water Generators

Does anyone have one? I've been looking into one and it's a pretty nifty idea. It pulls water from the air and runs it through filters to make it potable. I'm curious as to the water/energy ratio and if it'd be cost effective

I'm sure it would be in a more humid climate, but don't know anyone with one around here.

Why not just get a ROWPU and make some potable out of ground water? You're right over the Woodbine Aquifer. I bet you can start pulling water from less than 20 feet.

What is a ROWPU? I haven't been told of any aquifers in my area. Hmm off to research. Thank you again Denny

Its the Same thing really, but the discharge is too heavy in metals. I wouldnt think a brita would clean it that well, or if it did youd go through filters like crazy.

Yeah. I was half way kidding. I have to dump the water in our dehumidifier in our basement about three times a week. Seems like it might work, I don't know if I would drink it though. lol

I once used it to water some indoor plants and it was better than roundup. Killed those plants with a quickness.
