Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Thousands of people die every year by people who "punch it" to beat red lights..and most of the time dont come even close to beating the light. My dad was almost killed by a woman who sped up to "at LEAST" 50mph in a 30mph zone trying to beat a red light...hit his truck so hard it nearly tore the bed off his 85 Ranger. In 02' a dumb bitch driving a Jetta tried to beat me thru a busy intersection by running a red light while I was driving a 10k pound Ford F350 4x4 hi-rail truck (setup for driving on railroad tracks)...she lost...BIG!!! Personally I don't like the cameras either but statistics have proven that they do cut down on fatal accidents caused by red light runners. I've had the cameras flash on me several times at various intersections all over Dallas when I stopped a little further past where the camera is set to take pics...in multiple vehicles..and I have yet to ever get a citation. Most cities have an officer of THAT city review the videos and pics to determine if they justify tickets being issued and if you don't agree you can always take it to court at which time they will play the video to prove or disprove their case. Facts don't lie. Hate or don't...I don't care...STOP BREAKING THE LAW.

Their equivalent to me taking a picture of you changing lanes without a signal, and then sending you a bill with said picture and some threatening wording. Would you pay it? The funny part is most sheople would simply pay up because they're clueless.
I don't care what the statistics say, most accidents are caused by inattention, and a camera is not going to help that. That person blowing through the red light doesn't even know, or care, about some camera they "can't see".
Always fight these tickets, a great number are thrown out. They usually limit your options to one or two specific days you can go to city hall and contest. Most never do.

I've got one from Arlington that they keep sending me dumbass letters on. They say it is going to interfere with me reregistering my car in August. I guess we'll see. Shit sounds like a scavenger debt collector. Knowing how I go through cars it's possible I won't even own it by then anyway. lolz I guess if it does I'll pay it, but I'm not going to make it easy for them.

Rent and daycare alone cost me $65,000 a year. It's fucking cold here ... and I just saw my 1040 and the taxes I paid ... fuck this place. Excellent place to visit, or live for a couple years ... I don't see how people spend much more than that here.
Don't regret it, did great things for my career, but there's no place like home.
I love the Bay Area, but only to visit. Don't think I'd want to live there unless I won the lottery of a stupid amount or something.

i lived near seattle for a while when i was in the navy, like jody said, excellent place to visit but fuck living there IMO
also, don't run red lights = don't get red light tickets. i don't understand the problem
and yes i have gotten them... cause i ran a red light(2 actually lol), and the only person i was mad at was myself. they installed them at buckner and bruton, a place notorious for people always running the red, and now people will stop when it turns red.
i wonder if there are any stats as far as red light accidents at that intersection now vs a couple years ago when there were none? i unfortunately have seen some pretty brutal accidents because of red light runners at that intersection
