I remember getting all excited whenever a new CCS catalog was gonna come in the mail.

My son bought his at Index with his allowance money. He got an Index board package and it was like $80+tax, if I remember correctly. It came with everything and they put it all together right there showing him everything step by step. They were so welcoming and helpful with him (in showing him how/what everything was and just talking him through what he should get based on how he likes to ride). They actually really helped him get excited about it and he loves going back there.





He doesn't know it yet, but we've upgraded his wheels/bearings for Christmas. We bought Craig's son a whole new board/everything as his was from Toy's R Us and he needed a better one.

We need to get them all together and go to the park!

Yeah we do, I've told Craig we should meet up one day. Kenny is at the skate park in Irving 3-4 days a week since it's not baseball season right now, but we can go wherever My ass is too old to get on a board these days, but I've seriously considered getting some blades to fuck around on. I took some nasty spills on blades, and it never hurt as much as falling from a board it seemed. Of course, I could just be so old I really can't remember.

That's bullshit. Irving never had a skatepark nor water parks when I was in highschool. Now they have.them. I was stuck being an outlaw grinding on regular parks and swimming in crowded ass lively pool.

If Innovation Skate Shop is still open (on Arbrook across from the Parks Mall in Arlington), you should check it out. I haven't been in years, in fact, since it was located on Arkansas and Cooper, but it was always the best shop in Arlington back in the day. It was there years before Fast Forward ever came to be.

BTW, Brent - We'll have to get something together after Christmas so the boys can try out all their new gear. I'm cool with Irving since it's pretty close for us, but try to hit Lewisville more often since they have more stuff to do there. I like to dick around on their halfpipe and some of the street stuff.
