    Not a bad movie...

I thought the movie was good but not near as good as the hype. Seems to me there were a lot of blanks that need to be filled in by reading the books which I won't do. I will say Jennifer Lawrence is smoking hot. Saw a nice preview for "House at the end of the street" and she looks damn good in it.

Excellent post and you are right. There are a lot of details and back story left out of the movie. The book is good, I would recommend reading it.

So I guess I'll wait for the Redbox $1.00 version, lol!

My son and wife went to see it, but they both read the book(s).

I have applauded at the end of a few movies. For some weird reason smacking my hands together to make noise makes me feel good. I didn't applaud the end of this movie, but I have definitely applauded at the end of a long awaited movie on opening night.

                    Good movie, though. Enjoyed it.

I saw it last week expecting I wouldn't like it. I was surprised...it wasn't too bad, although I did have a few flashbacks from the Running Man.....I kept expecting Richard Dawson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, or Maria Conchita-Alonzo to pop up on the screen but they never did. I'm sure I will see parts II and III when they get made.
