I really need some new seats before I drive it daily. The originals aren't torn or burned, but they're uncomfortable as hell. Anyone know where to get a nice set (front and rear) of gray or black leather seats? Pm me!
Don't look now, but it will in fact be a classic next year according to the State of Texas.

Careful, kids. It's the beginning of the end for affordable fox bodies. They aren't making them anymore and the people that couldn't afford them or the insurance when they were new are coming into money. That's how this works. Buy the rare or low mileage example and bank or be king shit in 10 years.

        Welcome to classic Mustang ownership.

This is the reason I continue to just sit on my 85 Grand National. While technically its not an 87...the only thing keeping it from being one is what the title says. I swapped every single nut and bolt from the wrecked 87 Turbo T I bought and then upgraded the hell out of the motor..but tastefully. Its not some ragged out beat to shit Grand National like a lot of the ones I've seen up for sale lately that people are asking 15 grand for. I guess the other reason I can't won't sell it....is that I had the hots for the Buick Turbo Regal since 1981...and wanted a Grand National (the BLACK one) since it came out in 84.

That would be about an even trade minus all the parts I have assembled. No motor in it presently. If I ever finish the full roller girdled 4.1 block I'm building it should run OKAY
