Most people i know mount it above their washing machine and let the waste water drain into there.

I just got tired of lugging jugs around.

She has a bladder condition called interstitial cystisis. Therefore is limited to only drinking water. Drinks anything else and is in more pain than she already is.

do you have selective reading skills? it filters everything from the water, INCLUDING chromium and lead, not just chromium and lead.

                  * It is a 5 stage filter which is more comprehensive.
                  * Ion Exchange Technology as opposed to simple carbon only
                  * Removes virtually of all detectable dissolved solids

I've got a 5 gallon Brita filter in the fridge, which is plenty for just me, though the tap is fine for cooking and coffee.

It doesn't filter everything, I'm just sayin...

It's only certified for chromium and lead, everything else is just a claim. With the "Ion Exchange technology," do they alter the atomic structure of the molecules, or somehow bombard the water molecules with ions? Sounds like a catchy phrase that has nothing to do with what the name actually implies. Don't listen to what the claims are, only what they can prove. The only thing they've proven to work is their chromium and lead removal system.

I went to Walmart and bought 2 5 gallon jugs and the water dispenser for about 120 bucks total. I took the jugs and got them filled and Walgreens. Supposed to be filterd and reverse osmosis. Also sterilized. The water taste great.
