I've heard the squirters are a big part of what's keeping these things together with boost!

Invoice on a 13 GT base coupe is $27,952 with MSRP of $ 30,300
Invoice on a 13 GT Premium is $31,642 with MSRP of $34,300.
The 12's currently have a $3000 rebate on one if you can find any left you like.
As for what it costs the factory to build them, no idea. lol.Last edited by Steve; 03-20-2012, 02:54 PM.

I'll locate the article I read it for you later, but Traxx pretty much covered it. Trust me, I've been doing my research on this after deciding buying a GT500 wasn't worth the extra cost with the way Coyote's respond to mods.

3/19/2012 - Motor Trend, "Let's start with those eight extra horses, which nobody was clamoring for, but are welcome just the same. They were found in Boss 302-inspired calibration changes like making the spark retard a bit less conservative and deleting the oil-squirters that cooled the pistons but were deemed superfluous and a source of windage losses".

HAHA! Being married myself, im sure it had something to do with his wife. The difference between buying a 25k car vs a 50k car is significant. Like $500.00 vs. $1000.00 a month is substantial.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

Well, let's hope skip isn't holding his breath for this one.Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Yeah, no shit. I couldn't justify it to myself even if I could afford it. My beater gets me to work every day just fine. They sure are nice though!

Coating pistons is an easy way to find HP. I'd do it in my race engine if the rules allowed it. They have different coatings for the skirt, top/dome, and the underside. The top coating is to keep piston temps down, the skirts have an anti friction coating, and the undersides have a coating that sheds oil. It's not cheap though.
