My dad got one once, cost 3500 + to pay off a 2k loan, and that was after he had paid for a year.

This only makes sense if the "effective" (?) interest on your title loan is lower than the average "effective" interest on your other loans.

$1500 isn't shit, but, if you're looking to knock it out quick cut out everything you don't actually need. I don't know the rate on your credit card but I'm sure it sucks. The only type of credit I would apply for is a balance transfer card that has like a year no interest and no transfer fee. that way all your payment would go towards principal. Also, since you complained about hitting 300 lbs in another thread maybe eat less/cheaper, and mow some lawns to get some exercise in. There, by the end of summer you will have no debt and weigh 235 lbs, you're welcome.

This is a good idea. I had 5k in debt from going to NZ and transferred it to a CC with zero interest and paid it off.

If you actually want to get out of debt, get rid of all of your stupid shit. No more alcohol, no fast food, and don't you have some Mustang racecar?? Quit fucking-around with that shit, get your finances in order, put money in savings, and golly gee, you're out of debt.

You are trying to put a Band-Aid on AIDS with that logic. Reduce your spending elsewhere in your budget and increase your income with one of the side jobs suggested. Its a small amount so with so hard work you could do it quickly. Good luck with it.

Horrible idea. Pay the Payday loan off now, Before doing anything else to your mustang.

Get rid of the Mustang IMO! We are going to see this same fucking thread in a few months. Something like "my pile of shit broke down, what tote the note lot can I get a car with shitty credit?". "I lost my job 'cause I don't have a car and nobody wants to help me". Get your shit straight Steve! Sell all of your shit, as you aren't in a position to have hobbies and bullshit while living on social security and contemplating payday loans. Once you have 6 months in living expenses saved, then you can maybe start thinking about other shit. Until then, it's time to man-up. You're getting loans to pay other loans, get social security, yet go drag racing and complain about being broke. Aren't you 35 years old? Jesus man, get your shit together!

This whole thing is to spend more on his Mustang . BTW , that is his second car that he is building a new 347 for . He already has all the parts but was upset about the 150 bucks for block work . Steve needs what he wants right now and will not listen if what you are saying doesn't get him what he wants .
