This is how my former boss, Marcus Lamb of Daystar TV Network was busted. His secretary found explicit e-mails on his work account that were sent to his fuck buddy. Ethics or not, the shit is funny that he was found out.

I never took credit for my direct reports work. I always deferred the praise for a job well done to them. I never worked for anyone that did it either. This kid used to work for me and from the responses I think I ruined him and his expectations for leadership.

Sounds like they were looking for a reason to fire him. Regardless of company policy in a case like that, if you are a performer, and well liked by coworkers, termination wouldn't be the first step.

From what I've read/heard he was not fired or disciplined. He's the President and Founder of Lamb of God Ministries. The board decided it was best he stay on because of their mothership program, Celebration. He fessed up to the public and claimed there was an extortion plot against him even though police have found nothing. A lawsuit has been filed. Not sure how any of that went.
