Well hope this rain stays steady this year. Cause last years alomst sunk me. Thank god I had commercial accounts to get me through last season.

I love this rain. All the tanks at my parent's are brimming full, and hopefully we'll get some excellent pecans later this year. [Our pecan trees haven't produced much these last several years because of the drought.]

No, I think it's stupid to water the lawn during a drought for the sake of keeping it green. Last year, I watered my garden, my grapes, my blackberries, my pear tree, and my peach trees. They give me food, fuck the lawn.

The rain is awesome. Hopefully I can reclaim my yard from the weeds and dirt this year. The rain combined with my new mower has me jonesing for it to dry up just a little so I can mow and I just mowed Sunday.

Most HOA's will fine home owners if they don't keep those lawns green...

But I'll admit that most home owners could do a much better job of watering their yards. You don't have to water it every day at noon, like one of my neighbors down the street..

Yea, I kinda agree with you there on HOAs..

But again, folks just need to water their yards correctly and it really wouldn't have been an issue last year. Just water between 5 and 6am and only twice a week (if that much). To many folks are watering in the middle of the day when half that shit just evaporates. Not to mention you get healthier grass by watering less because the roots grow deeper into the ground.

But if it were up to me, I'd AstroTurf the damn front yard...
