Everything I own runs on either Diesel or Premium and both have been around $4 for a little while now. Bought some C12 saturday for $11.50 a gallon.

I just spend the last 2 weeks paying 2.39 per liter (9 per gallon). But on a good note, running 140+ on my daily commute to and from work was cool.

Those countries pay a lot more due to taxes for the most part.

His admin killed the pipeline from Canada, and they've barely approved any permits for offshore drilling. This has caused the market to think were going to run low on oil and also requiring us to increase the money we have to spend on foreign oil. At least this is my understanding. He may not have personally raised prices but his admin's actions are causing the prices to rise IMO.

Anyway enough pot stirring for the day there's nothing I can do about it and will still buy it. Don't have a choice, if I don't show up to work I can get busted down kicked out. Fun times.

ROFL at someone thinking higher fuel prices are only going to cost them a couple extra dollars when they fill up.

This, minus the race fuel part, was @ $130 to fill my cummins up couple weeks ago. It makes the best mileage of my vehicles other than my sportbike

Obama, Steven Chu, and several others in his administration's socialist's wet dream is European style energy prices for the US. He thought that high prices would usher in a "green" era of electric cars, wind and solar power, and conservation.

His plans have backfired and have backed the US into a corner - we now have sky high energy costs, a bunch of green energy companies that have gone belly up (usually after paying the execs ridiculous bonuses), an economy in the toilet and unable to recover, and most importantly slipping ratings in an election year - not the green utopia Obama expected. Obama and Steven Chu are now backpedaling as fast as they can, and doing as much damage control as possible.

                              Whoops.

Need a sure sign that rising gas prices are worrying the Obama White House? Note last week’s public humiliation of Energy Secretary Steven Chu. Asked at a Senate hearing about his infamous 2008 sta…
