I had a couch push me after football practice one day because of an argument I had with a freshman. Coach came up to me and asked what happened then popped me in the chest and asked me if I wanted to do something about it. He did it over and over about 4 times and each time kept pushing me harder. I instantly thought about beating the crap out of him but I didnt want to get expelled so I backed up and walked off(he yelled out "Ill whoop your ass" then laughed). We had a football game that night and my dad came to see it. I complained about it to my dad and right after the game my dad asked me which coach it was. I didnt think anything about it and told him. While I was taking a shower the other guys were talking about some huge guy shoving the coach around and poking him in the chest. My dad was 6'7 and the coach was around 6'0. My dad popped him in the chest like he did me and informed him to never lay a hand on me again.
Never had another problem out of that coach. If something like that happened to my kids I would do the same thing my dad did. But knocking someone out for making you kid run laps is full on retard. I had to run 250 sets of bleachers one time and when my dad found out he told me to suck it up and quit complaining.

I know all I need to know to form an opinion, based on the actions of her father. I've dated plenty of girls who were ruined by parents who thought their daughter could do no wrong, just like this douchebag. It breeds an attitude that they can do whatever they please and Dad will handle up. Then they turn in to bad little assholes. I've got two kids of my own. But I'm old school, and not politically correct. I whip my kids. They respect their elders. They say yes and no sir/ma'am, please, thank you, and may I. If they are screwing around, I can stop them dead in their tracks with just a look. That may not be civilized to you, but I'm not running around kicking some poor coach's ass because my little girl does no wrong. You know what's wrong with society? Too many punk bitches like the father in the story havig kids. Not enough parents like me.

A few seasons ago, some kid that was more interested in picking flowers than playing baseball, missed a grounder up the middle of the infield (kid was playing P position, coach pitch ball). My son was playing second, and was there to scoop up the ball and make the throw to first. Pitcher got pissed and took a swing at my son. The kid was benched the rest of the game. His fat fucking mother had the nerve to tell me "he should have let him get the ball, it's just a game.". I told her that her son has his chance, and missed the ball. My son did what we taught in practice. He backed him up, and got the out. We're not out here for fucking participation trophies. We play to win. If you don't like it, go play at the Y. Had my son done what he wanted to do (hit him), they both would have been on the bench and running laps afterwards. There isn't any room or time for that nonsense on the field (or court).

I distinctly remember my mom whipping my ass after soccer practice, because I had to run laps as punishment for doing something stupid. I knew it was going to get bad, because when she heard from the coach what the situation was, she said, "Well, thanks for the help. I guess I don't believe in spanking, either, but sometimes kids don't give you any choice in the matter." I laugh now, but I bet my eyes were the size of saucers then.
