          Saw one of the LED signs on my way to work this morning off of 30 and Cesar Chavez saying DWI ARREST ZONE, NO REFUSAL WEEKEND, talk about intimidation tactics. All holidays now are about worrying about getting DWI's now before anything

            If you have to worry about DWI before any holiday, perhaps you need to evaluate your consumption levels...It takes a lot to get to a .08.
            btw- MOST cities do blood warrants all the time, so it's basically no refusal all year long...
            To quote someone on here "play stupid games, get stupid prizes"...I bet the average DWi costs the defendant 14 grand by the time they pay attorneys, fines, court costs, higher insurance and DL surcharges for years...Oh yeah, miss paying one of the surcharges to DPS and see how that works out...

                      It doesnt take much to get to .08. Depends on the person, but if you can feel it, you are probably past it.

                      Every holiday, i make sure i have $200 in cash for cab and hotel fare. Would rather spend that and stay the night at a hotel than spend 10k in fines/fees and a night in jail or having hurt someone.


                      Theres no shame in admitting youve had too much. There is shame in not admitting it and hurting someone.
