On the way home today, I noticed that a long standing liquor store had closed it's doors. The Bottle Shop on Green Oaks, just west of Randol Mill. Don't think they were owned by Centennial, but it was kind of a bummer to see. It was the first liquor store I remember seeing as a kid.
Yes, Bottle Shop was owned by Centennial since it was part of Majestic. It was called Arlington Bottle Shop. I worked there in the past, and it was part of Majestic.HD Parts

I haven't been to a total wine, but specs had always been the best liquor store I've ever been to. They just opened one between the colony and plano on 544 near plano parkway.
Some of the specs in Austin were built in old circuit city locations, had fine foods delis as well as the largest selection of beer wine and booze I had ever seen in one place
Oh yeah and Specs is a local Texas based company and total wine is a Yankee company founded in Maryland.

Just noticed that this afternoon. Only went in there once or twice, and they didn't have any Woodford so I went down the street. That was when I noticed the 20% off place further down.
