Nah. People just arent as noble as we would like them to be. And I have felt this way since 94. Wicked98snake, how much have you donated to this guy and the other requests on this site? If I am such the heartless asshole, then why did I give over $500 to complete strangers going through hard times? Helping people that cannot help themselves is a worthy cause.

I have not donated to this particular person but have to a few others in the past and donated what I could to Toys for Tots this year. The point is not how much you give but that you try to help in anyway you can. You just always seem to be on a high horse around here and it drives me crazy.

Thats not true man. I just state my opinions. If I wasnt a physician I would be just like every other shit head on this site. Dont assume that because I am a doctor that I have a God complex or am on a high horse. Thats just not true. But I can see where you would think that.

High horse or not, Dave has always been one of the few helpful members on the site. I think people tend to read too much into what he says.

Oh, and never thought it was a scam. Just an unworthy cause. People feeling sorry because he was shot 5yrs ago. So he's down on his luck. There are many on this site down on their luck but wont ask for help. I disagree with tapping into our members for cases like this where all it takes is a little hustle and he's out of the rut. The more hand-outs people give, the less he is gonna want to take care of his business. It appears he is used to handouts after reading the story. Anyway, FF wanted to do help someone out that was on hard times. Fine. I just disagree on putting that on the board. When the board is really needed, the funds may not be there. hey all i would like to state that i am the one Frost is talking about. I felt it was needed to come here and A) Prove I'm real and B) thank you for those (helosailor and avbrucas) who have helped.

i want to address a few things. one i had a job for 3 years till i was stabbed in the back by a co worker who didnt like my style and a boss who hated me cause i knew she was a bad leader ( i can go in further if needed or wanted) no one wants to hire a veteran who has a hard time with change. as that being the case for me. the 2nd job as they say "didnt work out" i still dont understand totally why.

the biggest thing that bothers me is when avbrucas mentioned my hockey equipment.

that was a 3 year old picture for number one.

2 90% of that equipment was donated and or bought for me cause hockey is a therapy for me. when i got injured i promised myself i would play again. and i do every thursday. and i have never paid for a single season of hockey. if any of you have any questions please ask. if you feel this isnt real ask and i will prove it to you. again... thank you all for your help, thoughts and prayers!!!!!!!!!!!
