He don't work direct for THE chief. It's like the Military, he works for a Sergeant, or if he's a Sergeant , he works for a Lieutenant... The SERGEANT brings the heat, not the chief.

Eric, I have the luxury of seeing one side of the fence for 23 years, and the other for 20 years.

It's unfortunate that people of your type have only one skewed view.

Oh boy. My view is skewed because I see you bringing up 12 different arguments and scenarios in every single police related thread, and make a connection to you claiming everyone else does it in this one? If not, please state specifically what you mean, so we can avoid any confusion.

I stayed at a Holiday Inn, does that count??? That's the way it works in a PD. PD is a para-military organization. Sergeant is responsible for the troops in the field, thus he/she set's the tone and according the the Army Field manual for Supervision (Col. Dandridge Malone, if yu wanna look that one up) "brings the HEAT, when needed"....

How can I explain something to you that you know nothing about, or have any experience with?

You know I had my LEO experiences before I joined up, right? I ran from Shore Patrol while in the Marines after a bar fight, I ditched a cop on a back road in high school and got a few tickets before I started my job.

So, I've seen both sides of the coin.

How many murder suspects have you arrested Eric? How many times have you searched a building looking for an armed criminal?

You think you know things, but the truth is jumping on the hood of one car doesn't make you an expert.

03trubluGT would you know why Ft.Worth P.D. would be running radar off I-20 in Parker County at the Aledo exit?

As far as I know Parker County is out of their jurisdiction....

It was obvious they were running a radar trap by all the Motormen posted up waiting to pull people over..

Oh look at that, me talking about how you try and bring up 12 different arguments rather than staying on topic every time one of these threads start going. Holy fucking SHIT.

No, you idjit. I was trying to make the point that unless you work directly for the chief, you won't get any pressure from the chief. Shit rolls downhill, and you aren't near enough the top to see where it starts, and you aren't at the bottom to have it all land on you. Like your superiors you just pass it along, so you'll get it from your higher up.

Wow, this thread went south fast. I put FTP in the title; I should have known what the end result would be.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

The point to where you convolute arguments to lose the original meaning to give the appearance of an e-victory.
