    yea, but the S4 isnt turbo or S/C, and I want a forced induction car as my next daily, want one where I can add a larger turbo, etc.

                  They had the 4.2 V8 ones for several years. If I was going for an S4, that would be the one I would want.

                    Anyone know somebody locally who can flash a Subaru Computer? Any subaru performance shops?

                      I had a buddy with an 07 STI (I believe)..while the car was fun to drive, I couldn't get comfortable in it. I had another buddy with an Evo 9 that was much more tolerable from the not feeling like a $4k kia on the inside. Never got to drive that one though.

                          I'd say you've got that dichotomy backwards. The interiors in the EVOs i've ridden in were nothing short of awful.
