  • Could use some prayers

Found out today my wife has a lump on her breast. While it's not cancerous it does have to be cut out because of it's rapid growth. What that means is the wife is going under the knife to have a chunk of breast cut out.

Should you be so inclined, we would appreciate the prayers guys. We're both putting on a strong show for each other but this has us both worried.

May God guide the hand of her surgeon with the greatest skill and care. I would not be doing so well in your shoes. When does this go down, so I can say a prayer and keep y'all in my thoughts at the time?

She has a surgical consult to set up surgery date on the 19th. We're both used to surgery on me, I've had two since we've been married but she hasn't been put to sleep since she was 8 and she's 24. We're going through tattoo books looking for ink to cover the scar that will be there.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

My little sis is going through something very similar right now. Hers is MRSA in multiple spots. Looks like she's finally turning a corner though...after nearly 2 months.

Isn't there some issue with tattoos on scars? IDK, seems like I've heard something like that.

Anyhow, I'm not the praying type, but I will keep you guys in my thoughts.. Maybe it'll put some positive energy out there or something.

Thanks yall. I appreciate it and I have no idea about tattoos on scars. She wants something to pull the eye away from the scar

I have several very large scars, and don't care to cover them up. Get her through the surgery, and then if she wants to get a tat to commerate her ordeal, great.

You will love her no less than she did you after your surgeries, scars are a non-issue.

Though if you can get another cup size out of it, that's a different story.

I wish her the best, and a quick recovery.

You may be surprised how small the scar can be. They try to not be too invasive, especially on a visible body part of a young lady. I know both you guys are scared, but it's not cancerous! I'm betting all will be fine. Prayers sent.
