Congrats man! I have been un-employed for exactly a year and have been very actively looking for a new job the whole time. I finally got a job... just waiting on the background check to be complete before my formal offer but I pretty much know what it is. Anyone that has a job has no freaking clue how tough it is to find a job right now. A little more than three years ago I turned down four great offers for good jobs in within the same nine month time span. I stayed with my long term employer since I had job security (so I thought). The last 12 months has been tough but I have spent that time as a full time dad and wouldn't trade that time with my daughter for anything. I wouldn't have been looking for the job I landed had I not been un-employed and I think I am going to be much happier in the position and will make more money than I did previously. Everything happens for a reason.

I will NEVER take a job for granted again!
