Home Phone

How many of you still use your land line house phone? We never use our home phone anymore,and thinking about shutting off our service and having only internet. Nobody ever calls us and the only calls we get are from people trying to sale us shit. And from what i understand AT&T still has to provides 911 service, It's the law. I'm paying over 50 a month for a service I never use. Thats $600.00 a year!

I don't use mine - nothing but sales calls. I called Verizon to cancel the home phone and they said my bill would actually increase around $10 per month because I would lose my "triple freedom" discount!

I told her that was crazy and she says "how about you keep the home phone and I'll give you a $20 discount on your account for the next 24 months for being a loyal customer". Sold. Or saled, as the o/p might prefer.

Still have a land line here. Mostly because I live in a black hole for communications. My cell gets jack for reception out here.
