                Pretty much every employer can terminate you for surfing porn so why does this guy think he has a case. Going to a porn site at work was part of his morning ritual if he went over a 100 times in a 3 month span. It was bound to catch up with him and he should have know better.

                      FORT WORTH — News 8 obtained documents detailing how a Fort Worth police captain who was fired last month had been the focus of multiple internal investigations, suspended twice and even demoted.

                      The Fort Worth Police Department terminated Capt. Lewis Anthony Harris after he allegedly visited pornographic Web sites and engaged in self-gratification, all while on duty.

                      Documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act detail how Harris was once recommended for demotion after he apparently failed to file dozens of cases. According to the documents — dating back to 1994 — the cases ranged from sexual assault to attempted murder.

                      In an office letter, one sergeant said she was "extremely concerned by the possibility there could be an untold number of cases ... Harris failed to file."

                      The investigation examined 20 different cases. In 1995, while working as a patrol officer, Harris was suspended after crashing his patrol car into another vehicle. The accident was ruled to be "Chargeable/Preventable."

                      In 2003, the documents show Harris was in trouble again — this time after accidentally firing a weapon while on a call. Nobody was hurt, but Harris was suspended again.

                      Fort Worth police would not comment on the documents.
