WTF, i had no idea there were so many choices. So i go to www.powertochoose.com to pick which company to go with and it shows me a ton of companies, plans, rates, and length of term, etc... Usually i would just pick the cheapest rate, but obviously there has to be more to it since there are so many choices. Any tips on what to look for and how to pick one ?

I've been really happy with StarTex - currently at 0.05kwH
Rates do change all the time though so make sure you get locked in."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

I have been really happy with Potentia. Real, english-as-first language Texans answer the phone and ship you Shiner's in the mail you can sip while you chat with the friendliest customer service I ever met. Every email is answered and personal, not hidden behind an inbox.

Also look for a provider that charges the same rate if possible regardless of the kWh used.
