Well it doesn't come up as an option when I press my power button and I have CM7 as you installed it. Am I doing something wrong?
Its only on very few phones. I havent ever had an android that could do it right out of the box. I just root the phone then download a screen shot app from the market. This is one area the iphone clearly prevails over android.
I already have one, but I've never had an iPhone. I'm trying to build a case for 16 doctors to switch to android phones and if they do I get a free note.
With doctors I'd keep them on the simplest platform possible, which is not Android. Doctors and lawyers like to think they can handle technology, in general they struggle with it.
That's not disrespect towards them at all considering... I'd just keep it as standardized as possible for you and them.

x2
For anyone other than a true tinkerer then I would suggest the iPhone.
I can screenshot on my evo 3d with no apps installed. hold down power button and home button at the same time.
As for android vs iphone, customization is better, screen size, choices on phones (3d, no 3d, sizes, slide out keyboards on some, etc...) 4G capability, ability to actually buy a bigger battery if needed, open source apps.
as for battery life, with my Evo 3d, I can go a pretty solid day with moderate useage and be ok. For example, yesterday unplugged my phone at 9am, had a good 3 hours talk time, probably a good 4-5 hours of data usage, bluetooth on, texting, cameras, etc... and i was at 35% when I got home at 1AM.

SGS2 does it out of the box. Press the power butten and home key at the same time. Done!

LOL @ thinking you are going to convince a group of Doctors to give up their iOS devices. I've worked with Doctors and implementing technology for the last 10 years. Not a snowball's chance in hell.
press it down, and hold as you press the home button, then let go of all. if you hold power too long before hitting the home button, then you get the power down options.
Love my DroidX, nothing more annoying than someone with a Iphail asking to plug into your USB to get charged.

4G LTE for quite some time
free WiFi tether (combined w/ unlimited data is a big win)
regular O/S development
widget concept
fairly open platform / hack and tweak friendly (especially to *nix users)
superior (and frequently released) hardware
numerous hardware options (eg. range of screen sizes for individual preference)
expandable/modular memory
well supported major (and minor) apps
aftermarket ROM's (completely customizable)
highly customizable even w/o root
extensive support community
not boring
Android -'s
Much like a fine wine, or a high end Ferrari, advanced features not ideal for many consumers
not bland enough for the majority to understand all its capabilities (let alone use them)
Fuel (battery) sucking machines
fragmented hardware / software support (given the numerous device types)
For me, +'s out weigh -'s, but this is subjective, an the type of user will dictate the right device.
Dr's, Lawyers, IMO better for black-berry and/or Apple; their time is probably better spent making calls, checking email, maybe sending a few text messages...
