I would rather have a mid-late 90's Acura NSX. Won't have the massive torque or pull-me-over exhaust note of a V-10...but it will have the inherent build quality of a well made Acura, along with the comfort, and handling thats out of this world. Drive one before you knock them. With a few parts...they can run with the Viper GTS.

my friend had one when I was in high school, sure it was different and "acura nice" but it would get killed by SS's left and right. Definitely don't buy that car for its straight line performance.

I blew the doors off one in my T/A around 2002...they aren't known for their off-the-line power...but they make up for it in handling, fun to drive, better looking, quality construction. A supercharger or turbocharger kit can turn a "slow" low 13 second NSX into a mid 11 second supercar with Acura manners.

Good advice. I had a 91' with a built 10,800 rpm redline 97' 3.2 in it for 3 years. Really regret selling it.

Suspension on my Termy is pretty stiff, but the Viper I dfove rode rougher than shit as everyone else said.

I've driven the 96 GTS and the 03 SRT10 and I own a Ram SRT 10 which is a heavy POS pig that is pretty. The GTS is the sexiest Viper IMO and I'd own one in a minute if I had the room to put it.

I owned a 2002 GTS coupe. It was stone reliable. My only complaints are 9mpg, hot interior, stiff clutch, pedal position, and blind spots galore. Other than that, it ruled.

What sucks is you can't get the quad cab with a stick!

                        reg cab = stick
                        quad cab = auto

                        FTL :-(

Viper - review after one week

Ok, so I pulled the trigger and bought a Viper. Here's a quick review after owning it one week.

You are all correct. It rides rough, the a/c is mediocre, it's hard to get in and out of, it inhales gas like it's no one's business, and it scrapes on the smallest of dips. And the aftermarket cd player had a crappy install cuz it whines every time I accelerate.

It turns heads everywhere, it's super fun to drive, and as of now it's worth every penny.

I've wanted once since they came out in 92 but I was in elementary school back then. Lol.

Here's a couple of crappy cell phone pics that don't do it justice.
