Washer/Dryer Repairman?

Checked the hook-up thread and did not see anything. My Whirlpool duet dryer just took a shit and I need someone to see if it's worth fixing. Anybody in the biz?

My uncle has owned and operated a washer/dryer/appliance repair shop for over 40 years. He's in McKinney if that's doable.
