get used oilfield pipe comes in 25 - 30 foot lengths. here in lubbock you can find it for a bout 30.00 a stick

I have used old drill stem for pipe fences, but I do not want to use it for a wood fence that is going to be holding up against the wind. Welding stem I have found quite a bit to be paper thin from wear....
