You would be amazed how many people don't slow down or move over.
Another thing that people don't get is that this law applies to every roadway, not just the highways. If you are on a city street that is 40 mph, you have to slow to 20 or move over.

I know a lot of people don't slow down and don't know that it applies to all roadways. A lot of people are dumbasses too.

Traffic was very heavy and add the fact of onlooker slowdown to look at the pretty lights and the video should be quite clear I was going SLOW like noticeably under 50mph.
It was a total BS citation. He was pissed I got on the throttle after I passed him and he figured he'd chase me down to teach me a lesson. I will be moving to get both citations dismissed even if I end up having to hire a lawyer. It's a principle matter at this point. The cop was a dick and I'd rather give an attorney a few hundred bucks than even a $100 to the DPS.Ford

The problem is you were stopped by a DPS trooper, they even write fellow officers. All the newer cars only come with one plate. I have never written the ticket for no front plate. It is a good tool to use to stop someone around 3am when they should not be running around. Passing emergency vehicle: law states you shall move over one lane, or drop to 20 under speed limit. I stop people all the time who suck my doors off on traffic stops. My take: CHL, Polite, pull over off the highway for my safety, NO TICKET. I would take it to court.
