Not so much fun, but for a great all around car I'd go with a 01-03 Jetta TDI. They can be had for around 5K and get awesome mileage. I had one but got rid of it to free up some funds for my 04 cobra. As soon as I get rid of my Fox I'll have another one. I never got worse than 43 MPG and got a best of 53 MPG, no lie. Good luck in your search.

I agree with the Miata. Might not be the manliest car, but if you're secure enough to drive one they are fun as hell!

I loved mine. Just needed something newer with less miles.

It was fun before the supercharger after the supercharger it was a blast.
