If Ford stands for 'Fix or repair daily' or 'Found on the road dead'... What would a good slogan for JAC be? 'Japanese Auto Crap'?

Not to mention that those power levels defeat the purpose of having a full-size truck, hauling and towing.

I must disagree wholeheartedly with you on that one. I for one am always willing to pay more for a quality product, and obviously so are many American consumers. If price was the only thing that mattered, there would be alot more Kias and Hyundais on the road.

There are a ton of Kias and Hyundais on the roads. Wal Mart's mere existence, not to mention pure dominance, blows your idealogy apart. Some people are willing to pay more for quality. They are in the minority though.

it may just be me, but it looks small. i know my f150 is close to 5' at the tailgate and most Chinese are short. looks at the bed height in this picture. so the term "Full Size" is relative. i thinking it is about the size of a Dakota

Considering the relatively smaller stature of the asian population, that is full-size.

You said that all people care about is cost, and you are wrong. Sure there are some who go for cheap (see my Kia and Hyndai statement) but there will always be a segment of the population that enjoys quality (there sure are a whole bunch of BMWs in DFW). And the very existence of places like Whole Foods, Central Market, and Sprouts blows your ideology apart

Kia and Hyundai are cheap? You ought to stop by a dealer and see what a new Sorrento or Optima sells for.

If you were correct, then most of the cars on the road would be Kias.

I firmly believe that demand for quality is alive and well in a large segment of he population.
