Late 90s F-150. They are cheap and the 4.6 modular is reliable. Its slow, but for $4k you cant beat it.

I had a '98 F-150 ext cab. Zero problems. Ran it for 4 years and 150K miles. Still had great A/C and 15 mpg, no more, no less! I sold it in 2 days. Popular truck then and there are still tons of them running around Dallas.

Well, this guy was apparantly a used car sales men, who took trucks home to sell posing as a private seller. I rather not buy a car as is from a guy who knows nothing about the history of it. If you stumble across a deal, post it up. Thanks

I don't know how old you are looking for, but I have a 92 F150 that I am looking to sell. 5.0L, auto, extended cab, 138K. Has a few problems, but it's damn sure cheaper than $4K.

My grandparents still have their '97 with 160k and its been damn reliable the entire time. Only fluids and wear and tear items have been replaced.

We have a few more 97-03 f150s in the family and theyve all been them same too.
