Does anyone else hate the "courtesy reminder" calls..

I hear ya Matt. My dentist's office has called my freaking assistant 2 times in the last year to schedule cleanings. If the dentist wasn't a buddy of mine I'd have switched to someone else by now.

I hate the CSI calls from Toyota, they'll call my house twice and then my cell until I answer. Yes the service experience was fine, it was an oil change and it hasn't caught on fire yet.

You know what's worse? Calls from car dealerships.

I bought a Tahoe in Nov. '10. While I still had paper plates on it some drunk whore hit us head on and totalled it. 15 months later that dealership still calls me to remind me about oil changes, etc. No matter how many times I tell them I don't own it anymore they just say, "Oh, well we can't change the calling list."

Fuck that and fuck you. Stop calling me.

The VA calls 3 days before just to make sure I'm still goign to show up. I enjoy them as I forget a lot

I get so zoned out at work that even with the courtesy calls and alarms on my phone I still sometimes miss them.

I get junk mail from my local ford dealer wanting to buy my 2007 focus all of the time... the local jeep dealer sends junk mail incessantly reminding me of the need for an oil change/tire rotation/other service on my daughters jeep cherokee .... both are annoying.

I actually don't mind the reminder calls since I travel a lot and tend to forget my appointments.
