Umm... broken rail, broken wheel, car runs in the side of the train, dragging equipment, bad train makeup, exessive dynamic braking... the list goes on and on

Fort Worth Star Telegram is now reporting it attacked the train and pulled it off the tracks.

That's nothing going off that pic. You should see some of the pics I have from derailments I've seen over the years. LOL at the news station. I can tell those are corn syrup cars from the pic.

How long does something like that take to get fixed and moving again?

Considering it's somewhat sort-of in the vicinity of 360 and Division, I'm going to say 8 years.

So that's why traffic is stopped on Cooper and there's a helicopter above me. Time to bust a bitch and head over to Fielder.

                      DFWM comes through again.

Or until the Super Bowl returns to Jerryworld, whichever is later.

They will clear out the cars still on the tracks pretty quick and the crossings will be opened back up. The ones derailed will be out of the way in a few hours.

Wasn't there a Amtrak train or maybe a freight train that derailed like 15 years ago near the General Motors Plant?

I vaguely remember something about that.

They had a derailment in Arlington / Fort Worth I think last year right by Dottie Lynn / Eastchase Parkway. May have been the year before. Not so much populated there and it only blocked a crossing to someone's home.
