My Dad retired after 20 years in the military, then another 20 years for 3M/Lanier Harris he retired again (his division at 3M was bought by Lanier). He had 2 jobs his entire life!

No, we are self funded. That's why I hate it when people gripe about our retirement. It's not an elaborate fund that is paid for with taxpayer monies. We contribute to it. It takes 5 years just to get vested.
