Well after some research I found out ford has new updated long blocks for $4000 with 3yr unlimited mile warranty so I’m gonna buy that and pay my guy to install it

Small Ford engines are junk. Cousin has a Escape with only 32k miles. Head gasket blew causing an engine change. He said there were 9 cars in the Shop with similar problems.

It’s fixed hopefully lasts a little longer than the first one ha! It’s a different part number for the longblock and goes from 15-21 so I’m assuming it has the better bottom end
