  • travelling for the eclipse?

seeing a lot of people travelling for the eclipse today. I'm getting like 99% from my back yard, and I'm not fretting the cloud cover. I'm just interested in seeing the sky go dark and feel if the temp drops. any of you dirt bags going out of town to watch the sky go black?

I didn't leave the house, but it was pretty awesome to watch it! Even got to see a satellite (or maybe the ISS, no idea) pass between us and the moon during the time it was a total eclipse, that was really cool to see.

We stayed at home (GP) and watched from the back yard. It’s my first and likely only total eclipse I’ll see in my lifetime. Well done

Got to see it from work. We were in the 99+% area west of the totality tract. It was neat to see. Felt like dusk was happening without a sunset. 10/10 would enjoy again.
