I just came across this deal, it has current Boost hub spacing and thru axles, a Suntour air fork(better than you'd expect), shimano deore 1x12 brakes, shimano mt201 hyd disc brakes.

The only thing you'd really want/need to do is grab a dropper post. If there's one criticism is it uses an older 27.2mm diameter seat post.

Shhhhhh don't tell anyone, but I went Electric. Bought a used Electra Moto Cafe Go with 30 miles on it for cheap. I have made fun of my boss for a while for riding electric, I might have to eat a little crow. I rode 16 miles the other night and felt like I was 25 again, effortless cruising along between 18 and 28 miles an hour. I need to grab a heart rate monitor and see how much I am actually putting out per ride but my knees sure didn't hurt the next day and I felt like I got a decent workout.

Hey, no hate here. Whatever bike gets you out riding and not on your ass in front of a screen, is the best bike for you.
