Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

I think I'm about to throw up the deuce to these fuckers I work for. It's basically just opening accounts/loans/lines, managing banking relationships, and referring to specialists (Bus Banker/ Mortgage Banker/ Financial Adviser as the need arises.
The successful ones basically do everything themselves and have long term relationships instead of just the "hit it and quit it" mentality of sales.
Nothing like you're doing, though. I only have series 6, 63, and group 1 licenses

I had a choice between Private Client (Personal Banker for clients $250k-15mm assets with the bank) and Branch Manager. I chose the latter because I want some more Management experience, aside from supervising the Car Audio Department at a Circuit City when I was 17, lol.

Do you need a degree to get into management with that career? I wouldn't mind having bankers hours. You fuckers are closed for Presidents Day on Monday, aren't you?

Nope. We're open for Presidents day. We are about the only bank that is though.
And no, you don't need a degree, but you would have to put time in as a Personal Banker so you know what and how to manage them effectively. That is the general rule, but there are exceptions.

Originally posted by Sean88gt View PostSounds familiar. We are posting record numbers, $500k over a $2MM goal in January and these fucks act like it is blood letting to give a 3% raise to the department. And that doesn't even address the fucking joke they gave me because of my short tenure.
Loyalty and dedication doesn't mean much to a lot of these bigger company's. I just finished an 8 year stint with a company, listening to all the sales pitches and seeing the carrot dangling out there for all the glorious bonuses, profit sharing, 401k matching, etc, to never see a penny more than my negotiated base wage. Our location had a record year for 2012 in gross profit and they said the company as a whole didn't do as well as expected so they were going to do for one store if they couldn't do for all of them. I finally had enough of basically being lied to and jumped ship. After doing lots of research and getting all my ducks in a row I landed at a much better, and smaller, company that actually does more than talk the talk, they back it up with action(money). Money isn't everything, but if promises are made and negotiations are agreed upon and then none of them are kept from the employer's side while all them are kept on the employee's side then it's not worth wasting your talents with an ungrateful company. I only wish I hadn't waited so long to finally cut my losses and use my skill set for an outfit that appreciates not only my work ethic and ability to far exceed their expectations, but also the loyalty and dedication I bring to the table.
