Silly Garland cops

I was on my way home tonight, and was getting on 635 going north and noticed a bike doing well over 100mph. I didn't think anything about it because there is a lot of racing around Garland/Mesquite. Well almost a mile back here come 2 of Garland's finest hauling ass. There is no way they could have even gotten close so I don't know why they were even trying! Does anyone know if Garland has a no chase policy?

Many years ago (when DPS started using the 5.0) I had a trooper run me down for a long way, and he was flying when he caught me. After I apologized for speeding, he wrote me a warning and admitted (with a sideways grin) it had given him a chance to see just how fast it would run.

Pretty rare for a trooper.
