I don't think they were ever 'in'. He owes Tiff a beach vaca (which they're doing) and have another trip planned. I wish they would!!

I'm not getting involved with this. Stoking via poking, chukking a chunk, etc.

We've really been wanting to go in late September when everything is changing colors in the fall. June is a great time to be there, though. Should still be plenty of snow on the ground up high.

I've dragged Tiff up there with me several times, and have never taken her on any other real vacations. She wants to go to the beach. I owe it to her, even though I'd rather be in the mountains every time.

Right now, with the moving situation, we may not go anywhere for a while. And heck, if everything goes as planned, we may be living up there by this time next year.

Yeah, that's cool, but shitty at the same time! lol I think it's awesome you guys are going to start working towards getting up there. Beach vacations can be cheap!

Does everything still have a burn ban? Camping just sucks when you can't build a fire.

Last time I was in a Texas state park a burn ban was still on. Wichita moutains allowed fires as long as they were in a fire ring.

That's pretty cool, especially for Oklahoma!

They lifted the burn bands around here a couple of months ago.
