I shave every day, and they last me about a month.

Good idea, but isn't this just stropping a razor cartridge? Somebody should try leather instead of denim.

If it works, this will be one of the posts of the year. To simple not to try. I use that fusion razor too. Luckily, I have not thrown the old ones away

I don't understand the significance of changing direction if you're going to rotate the razor 180* at the same time....

I use cheap gillette disposables, but if you use the ones like in the video.....go buy some peppermint oil and put the razor in it after every shave. it keeps the blade from building up contaminants on the edge and keeps it sharp. got this from an old barber.

Yeah, but who has a strop laying around these days? Everybody has a pair of jeans.

I need to check my Sam's out. And WTH at all these people shaving once every other day or more? I need to shave daily or I'm looking rough in the morning.

Might have to give this a try as well.

I had very recently thrown a Mach III blade in the bathroom trash. I know they are done when they start pulling the whiskers and giving me a few nicks.

This one was doing just that so I liberated it and gave it the treatment on a pair of jeans.

Since I usually shave the night before I go to work, I went ahead and lathered up to test it out.

Amazingly, it worked well. I still felt a slight tug a few times, but no nicks, and the shave is a good one. It does not compare to a brand new blade, but for the price, it will work just fine. I will try it again in two days (since my beard is blonde/red I can go longer than most people).

I shave daily on weekdays and not at all on weekends, I can skip a day without it looking to terrible, but beyond that it needs to be done to keep the "professional" look. I use the Schick Quattro Titanium and one blade lasts me about a month. I dry the blade after every use.
