I was reading about this on Gizmodo the other day and they were whining like little bitches, talking about how it shouldn't cost $36 for a employee who makes $10-14/hr to do 5-10 minutes of work.
Sounds like covering costs of broke people phone, i read the iphone was the most expensive smart phone to make.Though it came in at under 200 bucks.

How long have I been saying it... I started saying it as an at&t employee....

              FUCK AT&T!!!

We saw it as employees. I was hired by Cingular and truely miss those days. Cingular was extremely sucessful and treated their employees well and because we were happy we took good care of our customers. Cingular buys at&t and as employees we were still taken care of but we couldn't do quiet as much for our customers. Cingular re-brands and becomes one big company as at&t and the mindset changed pretty much overnight IMO. Fuck our employees, we can hire new ones and pay them less and micro manage the shit out of them to turn them into sales robots. They at least understood that the customers were important and did a half ass job at keeping them satisfied... It seems that their heads are now entirely up their asses and they are starting to screw their customers as badly as their employees... it won't get any better. They are the mighty at&t... too big to fail... all they care about now is their stockholders.

ATT wont make changes, EVERYONE throttles their customers now days in some way. Didnt Verizon just move all their unlimited customers to tiered plans without even asking? Sprint throttles their customers who are other companies towers. Although I have never heard a concrete number I have seen plenty of Tmobile throttling stories as well.

This is nothing new, just new to ATT unlimited customers.

I hate ATT, I have them for both cell phone, and internet service. If it weren't for the fact that I have had free internet for the last 8 months, I would not be with them. They have pissed me off so much.

No. Verizon just added the tiered plans to new customers. I even upgraded 2 months ago and it didn't change my unlimited.

Oh ok, well I know they were planning on switching everyone. My buddy at work has had them forever and he went on a rant for a while because they sent him a notice saying he was being switched over.

Lemme know how that works out for ya after a couple months of them losing your number and forcing u to accept a new one that works for a day or two. I wouldn't recommend straight talk to my worst enemy........I really didn't think it was possible for a company to be as piss poor as straight talk....boy was I wrong.

Torchredstang dis this a few months back w/ 2 ip4's and has had no issues. It saved him a substantial amount pf money over sprint.

The deal is, get an sim unlocked GSM phone, buy the ST phone, register the sim in the ST device , then switch to whatever you're going to use. Input the APN for ST service and enjoy.

I just switched over to AT&T from T-Mobile two months ago because the only service provider worth a damn here in SA is AT&T. First months bill wasn't too bad, $72. Needed to add a data plan since I'm on call 24/7 for work and have to check inventory on a daily basis. The bill came the following month and was $167. WTF! Thats just for one phone on my plan - 450 minutes; Free mobile to mobile; Unlimited text messages; and 4GB of data. All the stupid fee's add up quick!
