  • Speeding Ticket Advice

Yesterday, myself and a buddy, both of us on sportbikes got issued citations for 111 in a 60... we both got tickets for the exact same speed.

Anyways, this was in Grapevine. How should I go about this?

I'm not eligible for deferred since it's over 25mph, so what do you think?

Is it fightable since we both received the same mph and that's not really possible by any means?

You should also be cited for not leaving your buddy in the dust

Haha, right. Usually my instinct is to full throttle, but this time I immediately slowed down. Maybe it being a bike cop made me slow down.

I'm not sure if I have a fighting chance even with a lawyer though. I just think it's strange we both got cited for the exact same speed when there was a bit of distance between us.

i got a 26 over last weekend on the bike...hoping the extra 1mph over wont void my chance of getting it deferred or doing the defensive driving

bro.. dont be a squid. 140+ down 121/114 during the daytime is silly.

& try James Ames, off harwood @ norwood i think. Not sure if he does GVine or not.

I hope your license gets suspended along with your buddy. Idiots...

On a serious note, get a lawyer and hope for the best
