A Houston man accused of sexually assaulting a woman with a beer bottle allegedly made dozens of videos of the attacks, authorities say.
Ted Dwayne Stevens, 46, was charged Feb. 6 with sexual assault of an adult in connection with a series of incidents against the woman in November 2010. He is free on $30,000 bond.
The woman, with whom Stevens had a sexual relationship, told authorities he forced her to use a beer bottle during sex on a number of occasions, according to a complaint filed by the Harris County District Attorney's Office.
A deputy with the Harris County Sheriff's Office Special Victims Unit obtained a court order to collect video evidence of the assaults, records state. The deputy examined the clips and found that about 65 of them showed Stevens sexually assaulting the woman.
Stevens is due March 3 in the 263rd State District Court.
