what was with the 2 B1 Bombers landing wednesday around 3...refueling on their way back to Abilene?

It was 2 B1's, 2 F-16's and 1 C-130 flying in from the southwest

F-16s and C-130s are stationed on that base. The F-16 guys like to annoy the living piss out of us I think. They do a lot of "high performance" flight right over the field. Usually while we're out on the flight line and trying to talk to each other

B-1s are no telling. They may have stopped there due to weather, broken bird, fuel, crew rest, the list goes on.

yea I know the 16's are out there...They do alot of carrier landing practices..I see them all the time fully loaded and with external fuel tanks, im sure they do that to simulate weight...sounds like full afterburner when they do their abort practice landings
