Looking for a tax accountant

Howdy fellas..

Normally I do my taxes on my own, but this year I need to file and amendment to my 2010 taxes, as well as do my 2011 taxes. Do any of you have recommendations for a tax accountant that can get that done. It would be especially helpful if they are knowledgeable about the Adoption tax credit.

We have character dressed as Uncle Sam doing that for a tax preparer's office near us. Now that's a reputible tax preparer!

What does a cpa charge to do basic, married with kids taxes? A family friend has done ours for the last several years and she's wonderful, but won't ever let me pay her. We usually just get her a gift card to a nice restaurant and flowers.

My last one in Seattle was charging about $250ish, but need to find one around here as well....
