Anywhere to check certain county state inspection laws?

I live in Hays county were my vehicle is registered and somebody was telling me that they only have a safety inspection here, not a full state like larger counties. Anywhere to check that? Mine's coming up at the end of the month. My car is completely legal, just curious.

You could call your local shop and ask.
